Volkswagen’s GTI MKVI (MK6)
Volkswagen’s new generation the MKVI (MK6) is no doubt a neck breaker, though its a shame it comes in a time of economic woes. VW is doing their regular thing, releasing their new model in Europe first teasing Americans for a year. (It’s ok, they had to wait one year for the iPhone but you have to admit they got us good with the MKVI) What makes the MKVI different from its predecessor? The average person can instantly see the old model looks rounder and the New MKVI has more edges. VW was probably chasing a “aggressive” look, giving the car a tense feel, as if it’s ready to pounce prey.
Do you notice something?... Its hard to hide Audi’s influence in the old MKV generation. That bold, distinct one piece front grill.. Yea, I know you noticed but... Oh do you see it.. The New MKVI is giving the Audi front grill back to Audi and forming it’s own style. Were not saying we dont like the grill style, it was just time for a new style. Mitsubishi still think it’s funny to borrow other cars front end :P.
The new volkswagen model is truly amazing. If you only knew the effort that went into it you would say it is more beautiful inside then how it looks out of pure design. One feature that is just incredible is the front windshield. I know you may say well what’s the big deal about its windshield it looks normal to me. Thats exactly the goal but, the front windshield features a film that dampens wind noise so when your driving on the highway you can vaguely tell how fast your going if you dont look at your speedometer.
